OperaBackUp v.1.2
OperaBackUp is a simple utility for creating backups of Opera objects.
This program is freeware and works on Windows XP/XPx64/2003/2003x64/Vista/Vista_x64 using Microsoft .NET Framework v2.0.
It allows you to backup and restore bookmarks, mail, contacts, history etc. It's an easy way to do Opera backup.
Backup file is a normal CAB file, you can extract it manually too.
Warning! By backing up in all *.ini files following replacements are made by OperaBackUp:
a) "%Opera Profile Folder Path%\" to "%PROFILE%";
b) "%Opera Mail Folder Path%\" to "%MAIL%";
c) "%Opera Path%\" to "%PATH%";
d) "%Program Files Path%\" to "%PROG%";
d) "%Program Files x86 Path%\" to "%PROGx86%".
For example, a line in the "opera6.ini":
Hot List File Ver2=C:\Program Files (x86)\Opera\profile\opera6.adr;
will be presented in the backup file as:
Hot List File Ver2=%PROFILE%opera6.adr
The restore will take %...% from the new Opera and OS and will correct the version of the Opera in "opera6.ini".
If you want to provide automatic backup, you should choose a backup type and a term (daily, weekly or monthly) on the step "Objects selection" - OperaBackup starts with your Windows and backs up in the background at the time.
